Mijanur Rahman Akanda, Phulpur: The newly elected MP from Mymensingh-2 (Phulpur-Tarakanda) constituency, Mufti Muhammadullah, visited the Phulpur Upazila Health Complex in Mymensingh. During his visit to the hospital on Monday, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Rahat Chowdhury greeted the new MP with flowers.

During this time, he exchanged views with the doctors working in the hospital. Later, he visited various wards of the hospital and talked to the patients. He was interested in knowing about the facilities and inconveniences of the patients coming to the hospital. He assured to upgrade the 50-bed Phulpur Upazila Hospital to 100 from 150 beds. He instructed the doctors to be extremely vigilant so that no patient falls into trouble due to the negligence of the doctors. He also advised them to ensure that the patients coming to the hospital get the government medicines properly.
