Special Correspondent: Today, April 23, marks the 42nd founding anniversary of National Life Insurance Company, country’s first life insurance company established in the private sector. The company began its journey on this day in 1985. Extensive programs have been undertaken at the head office and all offices across the country to observe the company’s 42nd founding anniversary.At the head office, balloons will be released and a 42-pound cake will be cut to mark the entry into its 42nd year. Company Chairman Tofazzal Hossain, members of the Board of Directors, and Chief Executive Officer Md. Kazim Uddin, along with senior officials, will participate in the event. On the initiative of area, zonal, and organizational offices nationwide, various programs will be held including colorful rallies and processions to create public awareness about insurance, discussion meetings to inform people about the benefits of insurance, and settlement of insurance claims. Through these programs, the historic moment of stepping into the 42nd year will be made memorable. National Life’s entry into its 42nd year is a significant milestone in the country’s life insurance industry. National Life alone holds this distinction. The company has achieved numerous successes. Since its inception, it has succeeded in bringing over 7.5 million people under insurance coverage. It has settled the claims of nearly 4 million policyholders.
