Atarbibilen’ Set for Baisakhi Release, Sparks Buzz with Striking First Look

Entertainment Desk: The much-anticipated film Atarbibilen, starring Farzana Sumi in the titular role, is slated for a nationwide release on Friday, April 17, coinciding with the festive spirit of the Baisakhi celebration.The film has already generated significant excitement among audiences following the release of its teaser earlier this year. The recently unveiled first look poster has further intensified interest, sparking fresh discussions across the film industry.Speaking about her role, Farzana Sumi expressed both pride and challenge in portraying Atarbibi. “Playing the title character has been an incredible experience. It was not an easy role—I had to put in a lot of preparation and closely follow the director’s guidance. I still remember shooting during Ramadan last year under very demanding conditions. If audiences connect with and enjoy the film, that will be our true success,” she said.Actor Golam Mostafa Prakash stars opposite Sumi and has also shared his optimism about the film’s reception. Meanwhile, Rashed Mamun takes on the role of the antagonist, Apu. The cast also includes Shaon Hasan, Sakal, and Asif Babu in key supporting roles.Directed by Mizanur Rahman Labu, the film brings together a strong creative team, with Raisul Roni serving as assistant director and Asaduzzaman Majnu handling cinematography. Produced under the banner of Times Media, Atarbibilen has been filmed across multiple locations, including Dhaka, Daulatdia Janapally, Rajbari, Goalanda, and Faridpur, adding visual richness and authenticity to the narrative.The ensemble cast further features Ashish Khandaker, Elina Shammi, Sanjida Mila, Joyraj, Parvez Suman, Farhad Limon, Kazi Ujjwal, Sakal, and Simanto, among others.With its compelling storyline, dedicated performances, and visually diverse settings, Atarbibilen is poised to be a notable addition to this year’s Baisakhi film lineup.
