Rayhan Ahmed, Mymensingh: Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Haluaghat Police Station, Mohammad Jalal Uddin, has been working tirelessly to maintain law and order and curb drug-related activities in Haluaghat upazila of Mymensingh.Police activities have been intensified to prevent crime, strengthen anti-drug drives, curb theft and mugging, and ensure the safety and security of local residents.To improve the law and order situation, police have stepped up regular patrols, increased surveillance in crime-prone areas and taken legal action against those involved in criminal activities. Alongside enforcement operations, initiatives are also being taken to raise public awareness against drug trafficking and drug abuse.OC Jalal Uddin is also emphasising coordination with local residents, giving due importance to public complaints and ensuring prompt police services.He expressed hope that Haluaghat could be transformed into a safe, peaceful and drug-free upazila through joint efforts and cooperation between the police and the public.Local conscious citizens expect Haluaghat Police Station to continue its efforts to maintain law and order, control drugs and build a crime-free society.
