Sosas organizes Iftar Mahfil, honors Artists and Cultural Figures

Special Correspondent: A grand iftar gathering was held in honor of prominent cultural figures and artists, organized by the Bangladesh Cultural Association (Sosas) at the Rahmania International Complex in Dhaka on Thursday March 5, 2026.
The event, which began with a recitation from the Holy Quran at 4 pm, was attended by over two hundred distinguished guests from the country`s art and cultural circles. HM Abu Musa, Executive Director of Sosas, welcomed the guests, and Saifullah Mansur, President of Sosas, was the chief guest.
In his speech, Mansur emphasized the importance of self-purification and restraint during the holy month of Ramadan, urging everyone to uphold the sanctity of the month and strive to become better individuals.
Special guests included Sharif Abdul Gofran, Mosharraf Hussain Khan, Zakir Abu Jafar, Saiful Arefin Lelain, Mustafizur Rahman, and Abdullah Al Noman, who praised Sosas` role in promoting healthy and ideal culture and stressed the importance of reflecting Ramadan`s teachings in art and literature.
The event was skillfully conducted by Zakir Hussain, Assistant Executive Director of Sosas, and included a special prayer for the country`s prosperity and the advancement of the cultural sector.
