Day-long Cultural Workshop held by Deshiya Sanskritik Sangsad

Zakir Hossin, Pirojpur: A day-long cultural workshop organized by the Pirojpur District Unit of Deshiya Sanskritik Sangsad was held on Saturday (June 20) under the theme, "Enriching Life with Our Golden Heritage." The event took place at the organization's own auditorium on the Bypass Road in Pirojpur town.

Among those present at the workshop were Central Office Secretary Monirul Islam, former central leader Masud Rana, Barishal Regional Adviser Professor Muhammad Shah Alam, Regional Director Azad Al-Awaduddin, Pirojpur District President Sohrab Hossain Jewel, District Secretary Zakir Hossain, and cultural activists from different parts of the district.

The speakers emphasized that such workshops play a vital role in preserving and promoting Bangladesh's traditional culture, music, recitation, and other creative arts. They said the initiative would help develop skilled cultural organizers and contribute to building a morally responsible generation.

They also noted that one of the primary objectives of the workshop is to inspire the younger generation to embrace indigenous culture and uphold cultural values. According to the speakers, healthy cultural practices strengthen humanity, social harmony, and the spirit of secularism while fostering ethical leadership in the cultural arena.

Participants had the opportunity to receive practical training from experienced instructors on various aspects of cultural activities. The organizers expressed hope that similar initiatives would continue in the future to further promote the country's cultural heritage and strengthen the cultural movement.
